Uh... Yeah...

Well, I spent about an hour uploading pictures, and writing a post all about the fun and adventures we have been having... and Ethan hit the power button on my computer tower... um... yeah... and he did it again today. So, after loosing everything twice now, I am going to try to post again, but when Ethan is sleeping or entertained by his father.

For now... we are doing well, our little bug is going to be 14 months old in 2 days, time is flying, summer was so busy, but so much fun, and we are just enjoying our baby, well, toddler, and spending time together as a family... Hope you all had a great summer, and hopefully you'll be reading my next post soon!

Its been awhile...

Well, we are all doing well, knock on wood, but we have been cold free for a few weeks now, and just in time for summer!

We have been doing all sorts of things, and just enjoying life! We've been to Vernal a few times to celebrate birthdays and enjoy family. We took a quick trip to St. George for a little R & R. We are going to a baptism in Rexburg this weekend, and Tyson's mom is getting married next weekend! We have Girl's Camp, High Adventure Camp, our son's 1st Birthday (YEAH!), a sprinkling system to install, more birthday's, our 6 Year Anniversary, Youth Conference, and a couple of Reunions... so our summer is just about planned out already!

Ethan is getting bigger and funner by the minute, and I can't believe how fast the last year has gone, kind of makes me sad, but I'm so excited to see him grow and learn so many things!

I've tried to post regularly, but sometimes, life just happens, so we'll update when we can! Hope you are all enjoying Summer!

Yep, Sick Again

I seriously do not know what is going on... Tyson, Ethan, and myself seem to be sick, then well for a few days, and then sick again... The last one, before the current sickness, was quite the doozy! After almost of 2 weeks of being sick myself, about a week and a day for Tyson, and day 3 of Ethan, we all went to our doctors. Lo and behold, Tyson and I had severe sinus infections, and were put on prescriptions immediately. At Ethan's doctor's appointment, his doc thought he heard something kind of serious in his lungs and ordered a chest x ray.

Have any of your babies ever had to have this done? The rad-tech (very sweet girl) strapped our little bug into this plastic contraption that kept his arms up above his head, and he screamed his little heart out, sadly yes, I cried too at the sight... poor little baby! He had pneumonia! I was in shock to be honest, but after one dose of the prescription, Ethan was doing better, and only improved from that time on. He is doing much, much better, and other than some teeth popping out, and the runny nose and irritability that comes with that, he is doing great, he is such a trooper, still smiling and cute as can be through all of it!

Tyson and I are battling a cold/return of sinus infection, not sure at this point, but its definitely getting annoying, I think we are going on about 5 or so months of having the crud. Our doctors said that germs happen, and we have a very young immune system in our home, and to basically just deal with it. We are so good about washing our hands, I hardly ever take Ethan to the grocery store, and he didn't go to church during all of winter because our neighbor (who works for LifeFlight) freaked us out about swine flu... so we are trying rest and get better. Now that the weather has taken a turn for the better, we are so looking forward to enjoying all the fun stuff we have planned for this summer (if we can get well, that is).

We went and had some family pictures taken, and since tomorrow is Mother's Day, and both our moms are getting framed pictures, I think its safe to post a few of our favorites, I can't believe how big our little bug is getting, he has the cutest/happiest/busiest personality ever, and we just adore our little guy!

Sick, Sick, Sick

We're not blogging right now because I am going on day 11 of being sick, Tyson day 5 of being sick, and Ethan day 2 of being sick... and of course, Ethan had conjunctivitis, now Tyson has it, and my left eye is starting to get red, so I probably have it too! Hope you are all doing well, and staying healthy!

A Picture Update

Its been a few weeks since I have posted pictures of my men, the hubby and the baby boy... I can't believe how big Ethan is getting,9 months, and getting cuter by the day! Have I ever mentioned how much this kid eats? He is literally eating more than me at this point. As he has started to eat more of what we are eating, I've been sharing my plate with him. He ate most of my plate at Easter and at a funeral dinner on Saturday... which leaves me super hungry just an hour or so after dinner time, I guess I'll have to make him his own plate from now on...

So, in my last post, I asked you all about your feelings about dogs. I should have made it more clear, but we watched my mom's beagle for about a week. We have watched him a few times for her, and she is wanting is to keep him because he won't stay around at her house (no fence, couple acres of land)... and we have a fenced in yard. Well, the little beagle dug under our fence and was scrapping with the neighbors 2 labs and boxer dog... We are getting our garden prepped and put down the compost on Friday, and the beagle went nuts, he was digging and having a great time in our garden... Needles to say, we are going to wait, we are also putting in our back yard this year, so maybe next year will be a good time to get a dog, after the grass is in and such. My parents took him home yesterday, and Ethan keeps standing at the back glass sliding door saying his version of doggie, its pretty cute and a little sad, I guess his little stuffed animals will have to do for now :)

Ethan has bacterial conjunctivitis in both eyes, poor little guy, but lots of other kids in our neighborhood have it too... so I guess its going around. We are enjoying the outdoors, and I'm really excited about doing a garden with Tyson. We work really well together, and the past few nights after Ethan goes down, we have been outdoors working together, and I love it! My mom watched Ethan for us Saturday night, and we went to Noodles and Company, Whole Foods (old Wild Oats) to get organic ice cream, YUM! and then to Target to look for Blindside, we seriously cannot find this movie anywhere, everyone says its really good, we are anxious to watch it! We ended up in the kiddie area and bought a bunch of clothes for Ethan bug... he is wearing 18 - 24 month size and we are just about out of stuff that fits these days. But it was still good to get out and spend time with my honey. We want to be better about having a consistent date night, do you all have a date night? Do you trade babysitting, what do you go and do? Hope you all are having a great week!

Another Cold Easter, Some Fun, and a Dog Gone Question

Could it be any colder in Vernal? Hackings have a tradition to go to Chocolate Rock (mouth of Dry Fork) and roll our nicely decorated Easter eggs down the hill. The Hackings that originally settled Vernal started doing this, and each year, the week before Easter is fairly nice, and then Easter weekend hits, and brrr... I don't remember in the last 6 years that I have joined in on the Hacking tradition fun that we have had a warm day on Chocolate Rock, and why would this year be any different?

Its so funny because my parents want us to move to Vernal so badly, but they themselves ask why they even live in such a cold climate??? Salt Lake still has it fair share of winter, but we've had green grass pretty much all year long, so I can't really complain.

So even though it was very windy and chilly, even snowy at times, we had a nice Easter weekend with both Nebekers and Hackings. We watched a little conference, but its kind of hard to watch with a busy 9 month old, so we are watching 2 or 3 talks each night.

Our company has a side by side ATV, a Razor, and we brought that out with us and had a ball riding it around in the hills. We are looking forward to riding it and getting out a lot more this year.

Tys was sick for about 4 months last year about this time, and I was pregnant and then on bed rest, so we are really looking forward to not being cooped up this year. We have plans to go to Yellowstone twice, Hacking Reunion and then the Nebeker Reunion, riding to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon on the Razor, Camping at Topaz Mountain, behind Strawberry Reservoir, and possibly Bear Lake. Plus I have Girl’s Camp, Tys has Scout Camp and for Youth Conference, we are going to the pageant at Castle Dale and river rafting in Moab… yeah, our summer is pretty much planned already.

Lastly, we are thinking about getting a dog... my mom has a beagle that just won't stick around their property, and we have a fenced in yard. We have watched him when my parents go out of town. He is adorable, Ethan loves him, and the dog is good with Ethan, but I kind of just feel like it is one more thing to do, and I already feel like each day is crammed... what are your thoughts, do you have a dog? Hope you are all enjoying Spring!

Whats This, WHAT IS THIS?

Sorry, the songs from the Nightmare Before Christmas get stuck in my head very easily, and Jack's "What's This" song has been a theme this week!

For the first time in nearly a year, I have had the opportunity of sleeping through the night completely undisturbed for the last few nights!

Nearing the end of pregnancy, there are few positions that one can find to actually get comfortable and then fall asleep. Then, with a newborn, sleeping at night is a rarity indeed... Ethan has woken up at 5 AM to eat since he was about 4 months old. So, now Ethan will be 9 months old next week, and all of my sleep books have said that at 9 months the morning feeding should disappear, and POOF! It's gone! Now, if I can only kick this never ending spring cold, I'll get my butt out of bed at 5 or so and work out! I have forgotten how wonderful it can be to sleep a straight 7 or 8 hours, Ahh!

Ethan started the Your Baby Can Read program a few weeks ago, and is literally saying and acting out several words, it is so incredible! He is so curious about EVERYTHING, and it is just adorable! We are now realizing what it means to "baby proof" the house ;)

In a way, I am more than excited for warmer weather, but I also can not believe that we are nearing the end of March, it seriously feels like the time goes by so quickly! My husband's mission president told him the the days will feel like months and the months like days, it is so true!

I really am super excited for Spring though, Spring and Fall are my favorite, and they are the shortest in Utah, so we really have to enjoy them! Oh, and I got the funnest floral print purse yesterday, normally a $70 bag, and I got it for $25, it is so not a typical purchase for me, but just looking at it makes me feel like putting on capris and sandals and going outside! Hope you are all doing well and enjoying life!

Update on Previous Post

Well, I need to write this to update on my dad's well being... his second blood test came back and his PSA was NOT elevated... sigh of relief! They are going to do another test in 6 months, but so far, Prostate Cancer is not an issue!

Second, my dad had an MRI at the University of Utah Hospital last week, and it didn't show ANY DAMAGE to his heart whatsoever, and the issues they thought were there, are not there... they are doing an echo in 6 months, and will just watch him, but heart surgeries are down the road now...

Now my poor dad is having a serious reaction to the meds they put him on, and is one huge hive... but thanks for reading, and for your comments... I appreciate them so much! Here's to another snowy day! Love, Dani

The Degree of Separation

You know how people say that the degree of separation between you and some famous person is like 5... you know someone who knows someone who knows someone... etc???

It seemed like that is how it used to be when it came to cancer... you knew someone who knew someone who had it... now, it seems like the degree of separation is 0, like everyone knows someone with cancer.

My dad will be so mad if he reads this, but I don't think he looks at my blog too often, just when I put cute pics of Ethan bug on here, but... he had a doctor's appointment and he has an elevated PSA level, which indicates Prostrate Cancer... he came out to SL to meet with a Urologist, and they did another blood test to confirm the PSA reading... and now we are waiting on that test. But can I just say, that CANCER SUCKS! It just seems like so many people are suffering, and two words, cancer sucks.

I'm not writing this for sympathy, or to complain, by no means are my problems huge, and its not for certain yet if anything is even wrong, but there is this concern that until 2 weeks ago, didn't exist in my family, and it really puts things into perspective. The doc also took a good look at my dad's heart. He had heart surgery when he was four, in 1960, and has never had ANY follow up care since. Well, turns out that he has exactly the same issues as my little sis Jacky, genetics are so fascinating... Again, its not life threatening today, but a heart surgery or two is looming in our future now, and again, my perspective is changing too.

I truly believe that FAMILY is the most important thing we've got... and I feel like I've been so blessed in that respect. The not knowing, the unknown, its just darn scary at times, but we are holding on as a FAMILY and will get through whatever is thrown at us, my philosophy is holding true, TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME... Continued...

It feels like we are re-living the same couple of weeks over and over... Monday morning, Ethan sounded really raspy, and had a very wet cough. Tyson had officially caught what I had about a week and a half prior, so he was also down for the count. I was super worried about our little guy, so I took him to his doc. The doc said that his lungs sounded good, but that we really needed to watch for RSV amongst many other things... But its been a good 7 days, and Ethan is much better, even made it to church today, and Tyson still has no voice and some serious congestion, but its about a 10 day cold, so he's got another few days till he gets better...

Then there is the weather. It was sunny and beautiful again, and we ventured outdoors again, even after weatherbug threatened snow storms all week. But then Saturday came, and yet again, we have about 4 inches on the ground again... silly Utah spring weather! We are growing a garden this year, first place that we will have the space and time to accomplish such a feat... and peas are supposed to be in the ground today, March 15th, how am I supposed to plant peas with 4 inches of snow on the ground??? Still working on that one :)

But I also got to go to the Relief Society Birthday Social, they served dinner and it was nice to visit with the ladies in my ward. Thursday, Lehi City has a Gala every year, and this is the 4th year our boss has bought us tickets. John Schmidt played the piano and it was awesome! We couldn't find a babysitter, so little Ethan bug came with us, and he was clapping, laughing, and smiling, it was a fun time!

Saturday, I threw a little "sprinkle" (babyshower) for Lib, and it was so fun, my mom helped me pick out some fabric to do a tie quilt for her, so the pictures are mainly for my mom, it turned out so cute, and had to get a little pink outfit to match!





Tys more than sweet enough to watch Ethan while I was at the sprinkle, he even cleaned both bathrooms and vacuumed! How nice to come home to a clean house, and a happy and full baby! We got a little bit of a while hair last night and went and had Indian food at Bombay House, can I just say yum! Driving in the snow bad, food good, oh so good!

I want to ask you all some questions, and get some advice/suggestions... how do you fit it "all" in? How do you be a good mommy and wife first and foremost, a devout daughter of God, a good daughter/sister/neighbor/friend, do a budget, pay the bills, clean, cook, do the shopping, exercise, read, scrapbook, sew, whatever... how do you fit it "all" in? This last week was so busy, but I felt like even though the toilets weren't scrubbed till Saturday (and not even by me, thanks again Tys) it was a pretty good week... I guess it just comes down to priorities, but I just am curious to hear your thoughts, thanks! Dani

In Like a Lamb, Lion, Lamb... ???

Well, is anyone else ready for spring??? Silly question right? It has been really beautiful, and since Ethan has dropped the 3rd nap, we have had some time to actually go and do things. Just as we were starting to really enjoy our play time outside in the yard, bam... 6 inches of snow later... and Ethan is crying at the door wanting to play outside and we are stuck indoors. But now its nice again, there are even stars out tonight, just might have to go out and do a little stargazing in the 50 something degree weather...

As I mentioned, the 3rd nap is a gonner... which I am actually happy about in a way. We now have a few hours to go and run a few errands, enjoy some time outside, playing with new things, its been fun! It seems like every two hours, it was nap time, which doesn't leave a lot of time to accomplish much. Then Saturdays come around and it becomes errand day, when we really want to go do something fun as a family... so I've been able to run errands here and there with little Ethan, and then Saturday can be our fun day with daddy!

Other news this week, my boss wants me to take on a whole heap load of more responsibility... and I'm a little unsure of how exactly that would work! I work from 9-2, Ethan sleeps from 9-10:30 ish, plays in my office for about an hour, he drinks his juice, eats his lunch, I read to him, nurse him, and then he takes another nap till about 2. While he sleeps, I do my work. It works out alright, Ethan loves everyone in the office, plus he gets to hang out with daddy a little here and there when Tys is in the office and not out with clients. I realize that it isn't ideal, but we still are paying on some hospital bills from Tys being so sick last year and then having Ethan, and my little morsel of a paycheck really does help. I don't honestly feel like it hurts Ethan in any way, its probably hardest on me, just balancing my workload/deadlines/task list and most importantly, being a mommy to little Ethan bug. But, for now, its working, and I have a good life, and nothing to complain about. I'm grateful that I at least get to be with my baby boy all day, that my boss is generous enough to let him come with me. I'm realistic that this situation won't work with 2, but we're not there yet, so I'll worry about it when it comes.

Oh, thank you all for the well wishes, I think we are just getting over the past cold, and hoping to stay healthy here for awhile! Here's to hoping that spring gets here fast, and just lamb mode would suit me great ;)

Quilts and Colds

So, I actually found time to practice the piano, do some quilting, with a little help from my little man (see above picture of Ethan with yarn), and got all of the chores for the week done... but we are still battling a wicked cold and all of my piano, quilting, chores has set me back big time... I honestly hate being sick, I just hate it... but cute little smiles from Ethan (see above pictures) and tender care from my dearest hubby have made it AOK... I don't know what I would do with out them...

We found this adorable fabric with turtles, and we love turtles, and now have found out that Ethan loves them too! He has the cutest stuffed animal turtle that Tyson bought in Maui a few years ago. Tyson will say where is Mr. Turtle? And Ethan will crawl and find it, and then hug him and squeeze him, it is so darn cute!

Ethan is growing up all too fast! He is walking along things, like the entertainment center, stair railing, couches, beds, cupboards... anything he can pull him self up to... and now he is letting go and taking a step, falling of course, but I have no doubt he will be walking shortly. He will be 8 months old in 2 days, still no teeth, and he eats more than I ever thought a little baby could eat... looking forward to spring and being cold free! :)

One Day Late

Well, its Monday, and I have been trying to update on Sundays, but do you ever feel like Sunday's are one of the busiest days of the week? They definitely used to be one of our favorite days, and don't get me wrong, I still love going to church, but going with a baby changes things a bit... Tys is in the YM Presidency, and I'm the Secretary in the YW Presidency, so between Ethan and our callings, Sundays are busy... No matter what time church is, it interferes with "naps" My mom calls me the nap Nazi, but Ethan is such a more enjoyable baby when he is rested (and fed).

We had a great last week, we had dinner with Tyson's sister and her family, and also dinner another night with Tyson's grandma. We also spent the weekend in Vernal with my family. Its sure cold out there, we've been a little spoiled in SL, no snow, upper 40's every afternoon, burrr... But we had a great time with our family, Ethan loves playing with his cousins, aunts and uncles, and Grandma and Grandpa!

Ethan came down with another cold, and this is probably the worst cold he has had. But he is a strong little guy, and is already starting to beat it. Now, Tys and I are just trying to stay cold free... I need to update some pictures, maybe next "Sunday" :)

As Promised... Happy Valentines

Well, its Sunday, and I'm taking a minute to post... as I promised myself I would try to do...

Ethan and I have had a little cold this last week. Tyson has been a wonderful husband, and has helped me so much with cooking, cleaning, and most importantly, taking care of Ethan. Wednesday, I called in sick, and Tyson came home at lunch and stayed home for the rest of the day. He let me take a 2 hour nap, which I really needed, and I felt so much better when I woke up... Mid nap, I mentioned to Tyson that my feet were cold, and asked if he could get me some socks... he looked through my sock drawer and couldn't find any "warm" socks, so he put a pair of his socks on my feet... When I woke up, I was a little surprised, but my feet were o' so warm :)

We always celebrate Valentines on the 13th, the restaurants and crowds are not too appealing to us small town folk out here in the city, so we go to dinner the night before. But this year, the 13th is on a weekend night, again, the crowds are not our favorite thing, so we went to a very nice lunch at Thanksgiving Point, at the Harvest. It was very yummy, Ethan was so good, and such a doll the whole time.

We also kind of "celebrated" last weekend. We went and saw Avatar in 3D. We've wanted to go for a long time, but 3 hours is a long time to be away from Ethan, and its hard to find/afford a sitter. Tyson's mom doesn't like to watch Ethan when he is asleep, and he goes down at or before 7 each night... So, we have a cute little gal from the ward, and she came down, and we went to Avatar last weekend! It was awesome, we loved it, and when we got home, Ethan had not made a peep the entire time we were gone! Little blessings...

I am so happy to have an extended weekend! Two holidays right in a row! We are going to work on our basement, lay low, and get well rested for the upcoming week! Tyson is making me crab, shrimp, and brie stuffed salmon, and I am making Pears Zbaglione for dessert, Happy Valentines and Presidents Day!

It has been over a month since my last blog, and have re-committed myself to blog every Sunday. I also write in my journal on Sundays, so I hope to be able to do a weekly post too.

I have started a little blog for Ethan, the link is on the right side, they are just quick little posts about the most random little things that he does on a daily basis, what a sweet little boy!

The last month went by so quickly, and I can hardly believe that it is February 11th… At times I don’t where the time goes, but I am working, have a mobile baby, an involved calling, and oh yeah, a life right??? Well, being a wife and mother are the most important to me, and I’m trying to not let those roles/relationships suffer at the cost of other less-meaningful pursuits (mainly, I mean my job).

A highlight of the last month was a trip to Portland, Oregon. My entire family went up for a funeral service for my cousin. He had bladder cancer and has been suffering, so although it was sad, it was a blessing. We haven’t seen that side of the family in many years, but they welcomed us with open arms and we had a great time up there.

Ethan, and his cousins, Rooks and Reese were so well behaved! They were smiley, happy, and just fun! The fam up there doesn’t have any babies right now, so they just loved on the kids as much as they could, it was so fun!

My sister, Nikki, and her family stayed an additional day with us after the funeral, and we drove out to the coast. Tyson and I honeymooned right across the street from where we ended up staying. We spent a little time on the beach, but it was cold and windy, but oh so beautiful… I have forgotten how majestic the ocean is…

Ethan sleeps to ocean sounds every night from the Ihome he got for Christmas from his Grandma Susan, and I promise Ethan all the time that I will take him to the ocean so he can see and hear the real thing. We are so blessed to be able to go on such a great trip, thanks mom for chippin in, we appreciate it so much!

A couple of funnies about this trip, we rented this Kia Minivan for Hackings and Wildings… well, it was a piece of crap! And we joked about what a junker it was the whole trip! We laughed and laughed at Nikki and her weight that she wants to buy from some infomercial. Our waiter at this place on the coast was as backwards as they come, and I still get a smile on my face at the thought of him with his battery operated pepper grinder in his little hip holster…

We played at the pool/hot tub with the kids, and I realized how fun having a family is going to be. I remember going on trips with my family when I was young and how fun it was to jump on hotel beds and go to the pool. Even though Ethan is little, I know we’ll have fun as a family and I look really forward to raising a family.

We Work With Santa... and more!

Ha Ha Ha! Yes, we get to work with Santa! Our office just hired a new drafter and he just happens to be Santa Claus! And Ethan actually likes him! We didn't get the traditional picture with Santa over the holidays, so this is the next best thing. I guess economic times ARE hard, Santa got a job during the off season! :) :) :)

Well, its a new year... wow, I'm not sure where 09 went, but 2010 is here and we are excited for the fun to come! Hope you all had a lovely holiday season! We had a wonderful, but quick Christmas and very uneventful (thankfully) New Years... let me explain...

First, we traveled for a week during December, who does that? I mean, Christmas always comes fast enough anyways, but take an extra week out of December and Christmas shows up on your front door ;) We wanted to travel out to Vernal and take a little extra time with family, but the no good weather made that impossible for us, so we drove out the morning of Christmas Eve. As giddy new parents, we were so excited for our first Christmas as a little family! Ethan liked the ribbon.. of course! But we read the story called the The Tale of the Three Trees, you need to read it, its so good, and it was a very special experience. Christmas morning was exciting, Ethan made a haul, but was a little over whelmed with it all and took a nap while we opened up his goodies!

We had a great Christmas day, played games, ate yummy, and I mean yummy food, and just enjoyed being together. But then, it got very cold, and not just outside, Vernal is frigid, but in the house, the temperature was dropping drastically, and the furnace was blowing cold air! Well, the handy dandy furnace guy came and took a peak, and yep, my parents furnace was pooped out, and had to be replaced. Not only was it not working, but it had been leaking carbon monoxide. How much and for how long, we don't know, but SCARY!!! We bundled up, collected every space heater we could, and tried to get some rest.

Next day, furnace guy comes back with a detector for CO, and yeah, it was going off constantly, so we packed up, and came back to our home in the city. I'm a new mom, and when we found out about the carbon monoxide, I fell apart... you see on the news the families that never wake up... that could have been us, I am so thankful that the furnace started blowing cold. We can deal with cold, but CO, its not to be messed with.

Just a few days later, my little sis, Jacky, had a little episode of vision going out in her left eye for about an hour and a half. The next day, she was on an ambulance to Primary Childrens... and after every imaginable test, the doctors are stumped and she is A O K! No stroke, no problems with her vision, her heart, her blood pressure, nothing, nada, zilt. Which is frustrating, because an answer would be great, but our family is so grateful that nothing serious is to be found. Jacky has been through a lot, the Lord must have a grand plan for her I tell you, she is one special young lady. But her and my mom drove back to Vernal on New Years Eve day, and Tys and I put Ethan to bed, had some dinner, and just relaxed after a nail biting week at Primary Childrens. I have spent a lot of time there during the years of my sister being treated, but never as a mother, and my heart was touched during my visits last week. I can't express my gratitude in words, simply put: I am so grateful and blessed for the health of my beautiful son, husband, and family... so grateful.

So, like I said, quick Christmas, and uneventful New Years... but all is well!

I have a six month old... oh goodness, 6 months, and I just adore this kid more and more each day. He is getting to be really fun, he has the cutest darn personality, I love it when he gets excited about something, his smile warms me through and through. He had his 6 mo. appt. and he is in the 85% percentile. He loves to eat, I swear, if I let him, he would eat all day, and that would explain him weighing in at 18 pounds 3 ounces! He is crawling around, sitting up, figuring out a sippy cup, loving trucks, making truck engine sounds, eating anything and everything we give him, and loves Elmo!

For some reason, that I can't fix, the pictures are first, thanks for reading my extremely long post, but had to get caught up! Hope you all have a great start to 2010! I am going to try and enjoy the moments more, life is short and there is so much to enjoy!
